Tim Barjarin from Creative Strategies is claiming that Amazon will be releasing tablets this fall. It is believed that the 10 inch version will be named Hollywood. It appears that Amazon’s strategy is to sell apps, books, and music to make up for losses that will result from selling their tablet for $249, which is below their manufacturing cost. Their tablet will have some fierce competition and we will have to wait to see how their tablet will actually look. Amazon will be hoping to gain through after sales rather than hardware.
