When shopping for a tablet you might not want to spend a months worth of rent, assuming you pay more than $400 a month. Regardless of your living costs the following tablets are worth considering. Considering tablets are becoming more integrated into everyday life, I’ve put together a list of the Cheapest Android Honeycomb Tablets Under $400. People are learning to appreciate the efficiency of not only tablets but the efficiency of the Android Honeycomb engine running the hardware. Android has been chasing down Apple as fast as they can. Its ironic that Apple is a fruit and each new version of the Android operating system is developed under a code name based on a dessert item. Past updates included Cupcake and Donut. The code names are in alphabetical order (Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, and the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich). So here are some tablets for your sweet tooth. The first tablet:

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer

Currently priced under the original retail price this tablet is a favorite of ours, we’ve unboxed this puppy and we also have a how-to video explaining screen options. Keep in mind this is the 16GB version and although you can buy a nice keyboard giving the tablet more storage, more battery, and more connectivity the tablet itself is impressive. A slim, lightweight design and a 10.1-inch WSVGA IPS capacitive display, the perfect tablet for anyone who wants to enjoy multimedia on the move, but still wishes to have easy access to the web, email, and other productivity applications. Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) operating system, NVIDIA Tegra 2, Adobe, Flash 10.2, mini HDMI output port and front and rear cameras are all packed into this nicely designed hardware.
