Kazuo Hirai, currently the Chairman and CEO of Sony showcased a few gorgeous VAIO prototype tablet models at the CES. It’s not that Sony is still new to the business. You can probably remember Sony’s flagship tablet last year, the Sony Tablet S that mesmerized us with its incredible remote functionality and unique rolled-out newspaper design. Well, we are about to see more of Sony’s sheer brilliance. Displayed eloquently at Sony’s booth are two very interesting tablets. One tablet with a name that we have yet to find out has the capability to slide over a detachable keyboard and it also comes with a stylus pen. But what’s more interesting is the Windows logo found in the detacheable keyboard. Could it possibly run Windows 8? That could be turn out to be true as VAIO is the only line completely running the Windows operating system.

Sony, however, didn’t confirmed the assumption saying the tablet is just a prototype and is merely for display. Sony also showcased another interesting tablet that appears to have round edges. We have to admit that the prototype tablet looks amazing.

It also has a keyboard dock but we’re not sure how it will work since it’s surprisingly flat. Are we seeing a wireless keyboard? Or will it use Bluetooth and laser technology? Sony has left us dumbfounded for a now. We are a bit surprised, and we like it!
