From the buzz on the web we now know that Motorola is going to be coming out with Motorola Xoom 2 which will be lighter and thinner than the original version. Additionally it seems that they will come out with an 8.2 inch version that will be known as the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition. This edition will come with an 8.2 inch HD IPS display. It will be amazingly light weighing, less than a pound (0.95 pounds). Not only will you get a slate that is easy to carry with you anywhere but Xoom 2 is very durable as well. The body is made of magnesium combined with aluminum and its display is out of Gorilla Glass. Motorola is highlighting the fact that it is waterproof which means that it is great to lug to the family picnic or for a day at the beach. Though it does pack entertainment appeal, featuring an integrated remote and a subwoofer.
