Simon was right! Think back, remember being in the classroom and making a beat on your desk with your hands and a pencil? Sure you do, well thanks to an application from Dohi Sweden you can still do that with an amplified kick. TableDrum comes with a Classic Rock kit with 8 high quality drum samples, but you can expand your sound library with Ethno, Jazz, Electro and a Glitch kit giving you 32 high quality sounds more to play with.
Although TableDrum is for the iPhone, it works with the iPad. Just one bit of advice: before syncing the sounds that you want triggering the synced drum sound, be sure to use a distinctively different sound. This app is the future, while other drum applications we’ve featured limit your creativity forcing you to use the screen as the drum, TableDrum allows you to be as creative as you want to be. Just find any and everything around you to use, sync it with the desired drum sample and abracadabra…magic! This app was launched July 21st and the best part is the developers want your feedback to make improvements. Check out the video:
