Lenovo Releases IdeaPad S2 10 Tablet and S2 Smartphone

Lenovo is on fire! The billion dollar company and the second largest PC company in the world has done it again with the release of two new devices running on Android – the IdeaPad S2 10 tablet and the S2 smartphone. First is the IdeaPad S2 10 tablet. You will love this tablet for its lightweight build and design at one-third of an inch and at 1.1 lbs. Compared to its previous model, the 10-inch IdeaPad S2 10 is definitely thinner and more convenient to use. The tablet will feature the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 dual-core CPU and the user-friendly Lenovo Mondrian UI. Other notable features include its detachable design, light integrated keyboard dock, 5 Megapixel rear camera, 1.3 Megapixel front camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB to 64GB of internal storage, WiFi and 3G connectivity, microUSB, microSD, micro HDMI and extended 20-hour battery life. And yes, it will run Android 4.0.

Second is the S2 smartphone that will operate Android 2.3. Similar to its brother tablet, this smartphone will use harness the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. But one feature that makes the S2 smartphone unique is its Kernel-level security system that will significantly increase the security of the device. It will include an 8 Megapixel camera, 512MB RAM for devices with 8 GB internal storage, 1GB RAM for devices with 16GB internal storage, MicroUSB port, HDMI and MHL, 1500mAh battery and the Lenovo Magic 3.0 UI. Both devices will land in China first prior to a global launch.
