Now we see an official release of maybe the easiest way to root/unroot the Asus Transformer Prime. Simple as a click. Ok you need some preparation but to actually root it, it’s just one click. Also for all you with a first generation Transformer can use this root method!
The popular developers from @TeamAndIRC made it possible. Not only that we have a simple root method, but also an easy 1-click root/unroot method for Windows PC’s.
How To Root Your Asus Transformer Prime:
It’s extremely simple. As you see on the image above there is not much too choose of. You select 1 to root – done! Of course you need to have Android SDK and ADB up and running properly but if you have ever rooted a device you probably have that done already. Here is the step-by-step instructions:
– Download the root tool
– Plug in your Transformer Prime and be sure to install the drivers located in the included root tool.zip
– Run the viperMOD Primer Tool.exe and choose an option (Root/Unroot/Exit).
– That’s it – done!
