We hope that the real life performance of the Sony Tablet S will be better than the benchmark scores with Quadrant. Sony Tablet S’s benchmark scores ranged from 1,566 to 1,734 which is the lowest of any Honeycomb tablets. Motorola Xoom and HTC Jetstream rang up better Quadrant scores.

The Sony Tablet S comes PlayStation Certified but it does not need a great deal of processing power to be able to play original PlayStation content. But Sony still brings you a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra2 processor. This tablet brings you the usual fluid movement of a Honeycomb 3.1 tablet and does well in portrait mode which can sometimes be more inconsistent. With Sony’s unique interface you get a different looking Honeycomb tablet. So far it is too early to make a final judgement on the Sony Tablet S but we are more than happy with what we have seen so far. Take a look at the video below to get acquainted with the Sony S Tablet yourself.
