It was a matter of time really until the tech world would meet the gadget that combined the tablet and the cell phone. Even though Samsung claims to have launched a new categroy the Samsung Galaxy Note does just that. First uncovered at this years IFA in Berlin the Galaxy Note eliminates the need for two separate products. Carrying your 10 inch tablet or even a 7 inch tablet with your cell phone could become tedious when you want to make a phone call, putting one away and getting out the other is a thing of the past. The solution is the Samsung Note, at only 5.3″ the display won’t disappoint, it’s Super Amoled Plus with a very high pixel density due to its 1280 x 800 resolution makes things look really sharp on its screen. Slightly thicker than the popular Samsung Galaxy S2 in white, the Galaxy Note has a 9.65 mm slim body.
Yes it is a phone as well, and at a little over five inches writing on this device with the stylus is simple and effective as seen in the video, or using the phone function like all other cell phones (held up to your ear) will look like other cell phone users out there. Other specs include an 8-megapixel camera, 16GB or 32GB internal storage, 1 GB RAM, LTE and HSPA+ support, and an impressive 2500 mAh battery. Running Android Gingerbread, the Samsung Galaxy Note also comes equipped with a customized stylus named S-Pen, which allows the user to take notes fairly quick and then save or send the note if desired. We were in Berlin at the IFA, and have this first look at the Samsung Galaxy Note and also how it looks next to Samsung’s S2, check out the video:
With Samsung releasing their Samsung Galaxy 7.7, which is available for pre-order, there is no word as of yet when the Samsung Galaxy Note will be released for purchase.
