Fudzilla is claiming that they have uncovered the name of the next generation of the ASUS Transformer. They claim that it will be called the ASUS Pad Transformer TF201. That seems right in line since this generation is labeled TF101. Look for the next generation of ASUS Transformers to be out by the end of the year and feature the all new Tegra 3. Some of the benchmarks for the new device will be a 720p Kal-El which scores 53.0 FPS while the Tegra 2 registers a score of 29.2 FPS.
The new Kal-El is almost twice as fast as the previous version. Fudzilla did an Egypt Standard test on Kal-El and it scored 40.6 with the Tegra 2 in ASUS Transformer 1 receiving a score of 21.9FPS. From the scores we can see that doubling the cores has really increased the performance of the ASUS Transformer. Hopefully by the end of 2011 we will be able to try out Kal-El for ourselves.
