Now you can get all the regular features of Amazon’s Appstore even if you are outside of the United States. In most countries you can now sign in and purchase apps from the store. According to consumers in Australia, Canada, India, South Africa, Venezuela, and in Europe the store is functioning.
The upcoming expansion internationally may be a result of the launch of Kindle. Speculation has it that Amazon wants to open up its store such that everyone who orders Android tablet in the future will have the same free apps.
Amazon’s tablet implements some of the strategies from Barnes & Noble Nook Color but will be unique in supporting regular Android apps without hacks.
