It was back in November at a Facebook mobile event where Mark Zuckerberg was responding to a question about a possible Facebook iPad app and shooting back by saying that “the iPad’s not mobile… it’s a computer.” he quickly clarified, he did not mean to be rude to Apple, and added that “we all love Apple products,” the iPad just “isn’t mobile in the same way.”
Now a couple of months later, we see things changing. A new official and optimized iPad Facebook app has been created and even released — BUT in secret! The code lies buried in yesterday’s update to the iPhone app and it’s entirely executable on jailbroken tablets. What’s the software like? Fellas from TechCrunch tested the app and mentioned the left-sided navigation system and use of overlay menus is “great,” as is the ability to chat with buddies while simultaneously doing other Facebook tasks in landscape mode. There’s also a ton of screenshots check out the source link to get a better impression of the app.
