Folks over at BGR got their hands on the first press images of HTC’s upcoming 10-inch slate, codenamed HTC Puccini. We will have to wait to see detailed specifications but what do know up to now is that the tablet will feature an 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, as well as stereo speakers and a microphone. In addition to that, will the Puccini support stylus input just like the HTC Flyer. The new slate is rumored to have a 4G LTE radio, running Android Honeycomb 3.x with HTC’s User Interface HTC Sense on top (HTC Sense is a graphical user interface based on the TouchFLO 3D design. more on wikipedia) all powered by a 1.5GHz processor. Unfortunately no info on when the device will be launched but it should be pretty soon. Check out the pictures below. Click on them for full size.
So this looks like HTC’s first 10 inch tablet will be launched with Honeycomb unclear what version exactly if it’s going to be Honeycomb 3.1 or 3.2. Also unclear what carrier will offer the 4G LTE slate first — Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon or AT&T? This week Samsung will launched it’s 4G Galaxy Tab so HTC seems to be ready just in time.
