As we mentioned in mid April, the HTC Flyer (wifi only) US model was going to be exclusively launched by Best Buy, we now have an actual date – May 22nd. Best Buy rather then promoting the launch or pre-order site, now accepts pre-orders for the HTC Flyer tablet (wifi only version) for $499. 
However, it’s still some time before the tablet actually reaches consumers, as the 7 inch Gingerbread tablet is not expected to start shipping before May 22. Buyers of the HTC Flyer can expect an official update to honeycomb Android 3.0 as confirmed via Twitter from HTC.
