Acer has opened their flood gates, releasing their first couple tabs on us. The ‘A-team’ has started an ‘Avalanche’ assault on the market… Acer is looking to ‘cool-down’ some of the hot tablets already known. The Acer Iconia Tab A500 (WI-FI only 32GB) is marked at 446.92 GBP, (about $736.70) on amazon.co.uk in the US Bestbuy carries the the Acer Iconia Tab A500 (WI-FI only, 16GB) and sells for only $449.99! That’s almost $300 cheaper!!
The only way to make the Gentlemen smile now might be the Wifi/3G Version, which so far is only available in the UK, Acer is smiling back, taking pre-orders now for £529.99 at amazon.co.uk, (that’s about $870.50!!) The Acer Aspire ICONIA TAB A501 also running Android Honeycomb 3.0, with an 10.1 inch WXGA LED Tablet, the nVidia Tegra 250 Dual cortex A9, the 1GHz and 1GB RAM powering you a 1280 x 800 display with a 32GB HDD, has 1 x USB 2.0, 1 x Micro USB 2.0, you do have a chance to connect your tablet to your HD TV with an HDMI output of course Bluetooth plus Wifi and (A501 only) also 3G, Amazon.co.uk taking pre-orders now for £529.99.
