BizPad: Panasonic Android Tablets Unveiled and Targets Businesses

It’s raining tablets on the market right now, and though Panasonic, Japan may not be popular in the tablet market, they have thrown the dice for their new android tablets in the domestic market. The BizPad JT-580VT with a 7-inch LCD screen, and JT-581VT with a 10.1-inch LCD, both tablets were designed to target businesses.

Panasonic decided to throw the dice and get on with the tablets as their new pair of contenders. Panasonic hasn’t yet announced the prices and the possibility of selling it outside the Japan market. While there isn’t any news about their prices when they come to the US market, this two tablets have pretty good specifications inside their plastic frames. This two tablets share some common features, such as both tablets are shock-, dust-, and water-, resistance. Panasonic claims that the big one, which is JT-581VT can absorb drops from a height of 80 cm, while the other one, which is the JT-580VT can even absorb a great drop from 120 cm in height.

Both tablets include a replaceable battery, NFC reader, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, a usb port, optional 3G connectivity, microSD card, GPS, infrared capability, integrated with ARM Cortex-A9 dual core CPU, 1 GB of RAM, and 16 GB internal storage.

The 7-inch model JT-580VT (above), has 1024×600 resolution screen, with 3G capability as an option, and a 5-MP camera for taking your photos. The JT-580VT has a IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, and it weighs 400 grams, and if you want to get yours, it will go on sale in December.

The 10.1-inch model JT-581VT (above) was designed with 1280×800 resolution screens, a lower camera resolution on 1.3-MP, and IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. This JT-581VT is heavier than the 7-inch model, and weighs 700 grams, and if you want to get yours, it goes on sale in January 2012.
