The ViewSonic ViewPad 7 Inch Android 3.2 Tab tablet can be viewed at this week’s IFA 2011 in Berlin. Below are some photos of it at IFA. It is an excellent tablet though quite expensive at 349 Euros, around $499USD. It is expected to hit retailers in late September.
The ViewSonic ViewPad 7x is an Android 3.2 Honeycomb tab with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core CPU at 1.0 Ghz, 1GB of Ram and is available in 8GB or 16GB. It also features a 7″ 1024X600 resolution display.
With its micro-HDMI for 1080p video out it offers connectivity above industry standards. ViewSonic has stated that it will offer a Wi-Fi only model first and will bring a 3G HSPA+ version out at a later date.
They have also added the Viewscene 3D UI which looks like it will attract many tablet users. This interface is similar to a 2D/3D situation. This feature is similar to that of SPB Shell 3D, though that is not surprising since it was developed by the same people. Check out the video below to see the ViewSonic for yourself!
