Last week I mentioned Cyanogen Mod’s progress on bringing Android to the HP TouchPad. This week we have a video for you showing what the Team Touch-DROID has accomplished to date. Things are progressing but still no touchscreen and hardware acceleration. Still a little progress to go but soon enough there will be an Android HP TouchPad. Watch the video below to see Team Touch-DROID’s progress on the dual-boot front. This feature allows users to keep webOS functional when using Android on their TouchPad. To date the dual-boot process is required to be connected to a PC so it can be operated by hand.
Many developers are trying to ensure that Android runs without a hitch on the TouchPad’s dual-core Qualcomm processor.
