Back in July we first got hold of leaked press images of the ThinkPad. Now we know that it is equipped with Android Honeycomb 3.1. This tablet has been developed for the enterprise market and features an optional digital stylus for handwritten text input and drawing. It provides consumers will a full entertainment experience while supporting Adobe Flash. Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet’s display is covered with Gorilla Glass and is 10.1 inch WXGA (Wide Extended Graphics Array) 1280X800. The processor runs on the NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz with a maximum storage capacity of 64 GB. Another feature is its USB 2.0 and micro-USB ports.
The 16GB WiFi-only model is priced at just $499, the 32GB WiFi/3G model is a little higher at $569. Finally, the 64GB WiFi/3G model is $669. Two of its main features are its digital stylus and its enterprise security system. You can order it now from Lenovo and expect it to ship by August 29.
