Due to a recent Amazon blunder we now know that HP will release a TouchPad 4G Tablet. Just a few days ago, Amazon accidently posted a product page for it that has not been released yet. Check out screen shots online and you can see that HPs 4G tablet will carry a price tag of $699.99.

The 4G TouchPad will sport a 1.5GHz processor and 32GB of internal storage, both decent bumps from the entry-level Wi-Fi version. And later this year, a scaled-down version of HP’s Touch Pad with a 7″ display is also due to arrive. Due the fact it hit FCC it appears that the TouchPad Go codenamed Opal will be launched as summer turns to fall.

From the filing we determined that the new filing does not match with the orginal 10” TouchPads. The retail box is different and it seems that the TouchPad Go will indeed be 7”. According to the FCC AT&T will be the network of choice for the TouchPad Go in the U.S.

In other news this week HP moved aggressively on the Wi-Fi only TouchPad’s price this week. Prices on the 16GB and 32GB models were reduced $100. We will have to take a wait and see approach on the pricing of the TouchPad Go.
