The ASUS Eee Pad Slider is scheduled to launch in Europe this Fall but now we find Phone House Portugal already listing a price for a Wi-Fi only device in one of their catalogs. The 16GB Wi-Fi model will be priced at €479 without a contract or €349 with. The ASUS Eee Pad Slider will come with a 10.1-inch IPS 1280 x 800 capacitive touchscreen, powered by a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core chip, 1GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB’s of built-in storage, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, mini HDMI and USB 2.0 ports, a 1.3MP front and a 5MP rear camera, stereo speakers and Google Android 3.x Honeycomb.
One of the things that make the ASUS Eee Pad Slider so special is it’s USB host functionality. So far only the Toshiba Thrive comes with a full size USB port which allows pairing.
