It’s hard to stop the momentum of powerful waves in the ocean, no different interrupting the forever popular iPad tablets. Ever since the iPhone pioneered the smartphone industry, the company has stormed the market with tablets in the same way, think back to the release of their second generation iPad 2 tablet, the world waited with their wallets ready. ‘Show me the Money!’, remember that movie line? Of course you do and Apple has been doing just that with their constant success across the board. “Today 86 percent of the Fortune 500 are deploying or testing iPad within their enterprises, up from 75 percent last quarter. We are also seeing strong adoption internationally with 47 percent of Global 500 companies testing or deploying iPad.”, Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer is simply stating stats. The latest statistical information from the second quarter for 2011 focuses on the iPad 2’s dominance.

 

According to the Good Technology Device Activations Report the iPad 2 out-activated Android smart phones and tablets combined. Business has fallen in love with the iPad 2, because people have followed the masses and bought iPads. Nowadays business have the BOYD philosophy. ‘Bring your own device’ has been the protocol so there you go, the device is a people favorite therefore its a business favorite as well.

   The financial industry had more activations than any other field. Its too early to tell what impact Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 will have on the market, at present the Motorola Xoom is the most activated Android tablet. Apple is popular be lets not forget they are a powerful company that doesn’t hesitate to flex is legal muscles
