Google is on a rampage, watch out Windows and iPad2 their street-view is on you.  What else could it mean, Google is releasing their latest version on two more tablets trying to edge out their own piece of the market. Upgrade Me!! Acer Iconia A500 and ASUS Eee Pad ascending to Android 3.1. First is was the Motorola Xoom, check out our earlier post with a walk through video as well to see Android 3.1 in action.

Don’t get hypnotized by the giant Apple looking out the Windows too fast because Android 3.1 has many things that will attract any tablet user including resizeable widgets, support for USB peripherals, and new Movies and Books apps, etc. Look for the Acer Iconia A500 is aiming to launch the Iconia Tab A500 with 3.1 next month, if you have one already upgrades are coming for you too.

For the info on the ASUS you’ll need your Passport, let’s go to Italy…on Facebook. I’ve done the translating for you on where else, Google:

‘We can officially confirm that the update to Android 3.1 will be available for all users of the ASUS Eee Transformer Pad as part of a package of upgrades FOTA (Firmware Over-the-Air). The release date will be announced in early June. Users will receive a notification on their Eee Pad when the upgrade will be available.’

Without and doubt, Google plans to serve us dessert on these devices The Ice Cream Sandwich the upcoming version of Android (Gingerbread and Honeycomb, into a “cohesive whole”) is right around the corner.
