We have been awaiting the Toshiba 10.1 inch Honeycomb tablet called “Thrive” and it is up to pre-order now! But not too long ago, the name of the Toshiba tablet was still unclear. Some still list it just as “Toshiba Tablet”. But then it was more or less confirmed that it will be called “Thrive” when Camille and Kennerly twittert about a video commercial being produced. Already to see on the web is the animated promotional video commercial (see below). Though at the time the video was produced it seems like even Toshiba didn’t know the name yet – so they it’s just call it “Toshiba tablet”
8GB of internal storage is priced at $449 and $579 for 32GB. The 16GB model listing as of yet, but should change owners for about $499. We can expect them to hit the streets next month which matches the Japanese release at the end of July.
The Toshiba Thrive specs: of Android 3.0 Honeycomb powered by a dual core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, a “wide viewing angle” 1280 x 800 display, 2MP / 5MP front and rear cameras with auto-focus, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, b/g/n Wi-Fi, full sized SD card reader, full sized HDMI and USB 2.0, mini USB and dock ports.
