ASUS has really kicked up dust with their “Pad or Phone” campaign which is promoting the upcoming ASUS “Padfone” we now know. The Padfone will be launched at Computex 2011 held in ASUS’ district Taipei. The name leaked through some fellas flipping through recent trademark filings both in the US and in Europe, it turns out that ASUS has applied for protection on the word “Padfone“, which presumably will be the name for their upcoming device we have been reporting about lately (infos and pics that leaked 1, 2, 3). The name alone, Padfone, doesn’t give us many more clues about the particulars of the device, except that maybe it’ll be more of a tablet than a phone (since they didn’t go with “Fonepad” 😉 but this we know from the pictures that leaked the last couple of days.
