The “Device Manufacturer of the Year” HTC flies high and releases the HTC Flyer promo video plus… the internet bird-call, aka as Twitter has some sweet news for all you Honeycomb OS lovers. A tweet posted on HTC’s official Twitter account has confirmed Android 3.0 Honeycomb source code to be released before updating their upcoming HTC Flyer 7-inch tablet. Currently the HTC Flyer runs on Android 2.4 Gingerbread OS with HTC Sense UI customizations. What has Google said about this? Simple: more time is needed, the sooner the bettter right? Regardless the Android 3.0 Honeycomb source code will be here soon.
